Tony Huber
(Founder and President)

Tony started his coaching career at Van der Meer tennis academy in Hilton Head, SC.  He coached from 1993-96 on Hilton Head Island.  In 1996 he was named head pro at Van der Meer Lake of the Ozark.  From 1996 Tony was director of the Junior program at Copperfield Racquet and Health club.  Since 1999 Tony focused on professional coaching and helping his wife, Liezel Huber become the number 1 ranked doubles player in the world.  Tony coached numerous professional players that includes, Maggie Maleeva (top 10 in the world in singles), Cara Black (co number 1 in the world with Liezel Huber).  He has also worked with Martina Navratilova, Ai Sugiyama, Chani Scheepers and Sanya Mirza.

Tony received the PTR touring coach of the year on the ATP and WTA Tour in 2005.  He was also the PTR humanitarian of the year in 2006.

Tony is certified with the Professional Tennis Registry since 1993 is a national Tester since 1995.  Traveling with Liezel on tour for more than 12 years, Tony also represents coaches on the WTA Tour.  He has a knack for finding the most efficient way to help players at any level, find problem areas in their game and motivate them to become better.  Tony is a magician on and off court.
