Alex Montes

Alex Montes began his playing tennis at the age of 15 his sophomore year of High school. After one year of junior varsity, Alex played Varsity tennis at Langham Creek High School, playing Line 1 Doubles (1st team all-district) and Line 2 Singles his junior and senior year. Alex began his teaching career at the age of 18 working at the Copperfield Racquet and Health Club. There he began working with juniors, helping shape and develop young players. After 1 year of assisting with the junior program, Alex became certified under the USPTR. The Following year Alex also received his USPTA P1 teaching certificate. At Copperfield, Alex worked full time with juniors of all ages and levels, developed and directed adult programs, and directed the Women’s In-House League. His goals at Huber and Fairfield is to help develop such programs and bring the joy of tennis that he has found in his life to others.
