Lance Camp

Lance was born in San Antonio, but grew up in Cypress where his dad taught him to play tennis at the age of 4. As a junior, Lance was ranked in the top 10 in singles and number 1 in doubles. His success in juniors led him to play college tennis for Collin County where he received a tennis scholarship and was All American. Lance moved on to compete in future and challenger tournaments including a few ATP tour events. He knows what it takes to play at all levels and still enjoys competing in the Men’s Open division where he is currently ranked top 15 in the state.

Lance has been teaching tennis for over 10 years now.  His passion is teaching kids where he enjoys helping them reach their top potential and is committed to their development on and off the court. Lance also organizes adult programs including the Guys Day Out on Friday nights. He has been at the Huber Tennis Ranch for almost 2 years now. His previous experience as a teaching professional includes Downtown Club at the Met, Lakes Tennis Academy and Club Med. Lance’s certifications include: PTR, USRSA, CPR and previously ATP certified.

In his spare time, Lance enjoys traveling and spending time with his girlfriend, dog and cat.
